The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is being rolled out in West Bengal. The amount pertains to the 23rd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme. A total of ₹18,880 crore will be transferred directly to the accounts of nearly 10 crore farmers. Each eligible farmer will receive an installment of ₹2,000, which is scheduled to be transferred tomorrow. In West Bengal, farmers will receive a total of ₹907 crore under this installment. Approximately 46 lakh farmers in the state are expected to benefit from the scheme.
