Vande Mataram | ‘বন্দে মাতরম’-এর মর্যাদারক্ষায় কড়া কেন্দ্র। অবমাননা-গানে বাধা এবার শাস্তিযোগ্য অপরাধ। বাদল অধিবেশনেই লোকসভায় বিল আনছে কেন্দ্র। প্রিভেনশন অফ ইনসাল্টস টু ন্যাশনাল অনার (সংশোধনী) বিল। কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রিসভার অনুমোদনের পর বিল পেশের তোড়জোড়। সংসদের ২ কক্ষে বিল পাস হলে রাষ্ট্রপতির সম্মতির অপেক্ষা। রাষ্ট্রপতির সম্মতি নিয়ে তৈরি হবে আইন। জাতীয় সঙ্গীত ও রাষ্ট্রগানের ক্ষেত্রে আগেই কড়া প্রোটোকল। কড়া প্রোটোকল জারি করেছে স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রক। নির্ভুল উচ্চারণ-সোজা হয়ে দাঁড়ানোর নির্দেশ। ‘জন গণ মন’-র আগেই গাইতে হবে ‘বন্দে মাতরম’। আগেই কড়া নির্দেশিকা জারি স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রকের।The Centre takes a firm stand to safeguard the dignity of “Vande Mataram.” Disrespecting or distorting “Vande Mataram” in songs could soon become a punishable offence. The Centre is set to introduce the bill in the Lok Sabha during the Monsoon Session. The proposed legislation is the Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Bill. Following Union Cabinet approval, preparations are underway to table the bill in Parliament. If passed by both Houses of Parliament, the bill will await the President’s assent. After receiving the President’s assent, it will become law. Strict protocols are already in place for the National Anthem and the National Song. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued stringent guidelines. The guidelines mandate correct pronunciation and standing at attention while singing. “Vande Mataram” must be sung before “Jana Gana Mana.” The Ministry of Home Affairs had already issued detailed guidelines on the matter.
